San Jose Strike Vote
IFPTE Local 21 and MEF-AFSCME Local 101 are holding a vote on whether to authorize our bargaining teams to call a strike for up to three days should the City fail to negotiate acceptable agreements.
Voting YES will send a message that we will not accept a worsening understaffing crisis.
Voting will take place in-person at City worksites from Tuesday, 8/1 to Friday, 8/4.
All members are eligible to vote. Results will be announced August 7.
Your Union Bargaining Teams unanimously recommend a YES vote.
We urge all members to vote YES and to talk up the vote with other members.
